An Italian market site that showcases the food first, then makes ordering it for catering — pickup or delivery — actually easy.
Local Italian markets thrive on craft and reputation. Translating that to a website usually means losing the texture that makes them special. Ferrucci's needed a site that conveyed the food viscerally, plus real e-commerce capability — catering orders with date selection, pickup vs. delivery options, and clear menu architecture across multiple service types.
We led with food photography and editorial pacing, treating the menu like a magazine spread rather than a catalog. The catering flow was designed as a conversational experience — you describe the event, the system suggests the menu, you adjust quantities. The e-commerce backend handles the operational complexity invisibly: pickup vs. delivery routing, prep time logic, inventory limits per item.
