A startup hockey player agency for collegiate athletes building toward professional careers. Clean, professional, and trustworthy — no fluff.
Sports agency sites either drown in clichés (hard-cut highlight reels, aggressive typography) or feel like law firms (sterile, untrustworthy in a different way). Center Ice needed to read as professional and trustworthy to families considering an agent for their college-aged son — but distinctive enough that NHL prospects took the firm seriously. The brief was 'no fluff' but with real character.
We built the site around restraint and clear narrative — what the firm does, who they work with, how the developmental relationship works. Typography does the heavy lifting; imagery is editorial and selective. The visual language signals discipline without coldness, ambition without performance. Trust is the throughline.
